MORILLO AnaMaria
Born in Ipiales, a city where he spent his childhood to complete his secondary education. Seeking new horizons in Bogotá, for his training as a teacher, a profession he has held since 1976.
The habits of her mother's house, cemented the predilection for reading, poetry, crafts, music and good food.
A high sensitivity and respect for nature, allow the daily discovery of the landscape, the cold mornings full of the unique shine of the sun on the snow, the blue-green sunsets and nights full of stars, its majestic lakes and a variety of flora and fauna, maintain day to day capacity for wonder, for the environment. This is where hope is born to learn to paint guided by a teacher.
In 1997 is the way to achieve this objective, a workshop group led by the Master and painter Oswaldo Lopez, a native of the city of Pasto and lives in Bogota.
Start exploring the learning process with charcoal, watercolor, acrylic and oil. Plasma everyday images that cause anxiety and excitement. Initially portrayed as a recreational activity, which soon becomes a permanent, disciplined work.
The paintings are made with oil on canvas or wood, mostly with a spatula. Addressed in his paintings variety of subjects: flowers, landscapes, still lifes and some facts that can not be ignored in our eyes, such as displacement, and living in situations of risk.
